Our client, an established and leading Training Company are looking for an experienced and qualified Youth Tutor to join the team. This opportunity offers excellent company benefits and a strong career path opportunity.

Full Time Permanent Role
Salary: £ 18,000 - £23,000
Location: Blackwood

Role Summary:

You will be a self-motivated flexible self-starter, to provide a learning and employability framework to Youth learners, ensuring the attainment of positive outcomes through the delivery of classroom and vocational assessment and training. You will attend external meetings and networking events as required and take responsibility for personal continuous development. Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards CAVA qualification or equivalent qualification - ESW Communication Level 2, AON Level 2, 8375 practitioners Award L3 or equivalent. You must have a full driving licence with use of own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct initial interviews including assessment activities with learners using a range of tools
* Plan the learning and assessment process with learners, observing and recording assessments completing all relevant documentation
* Complete and maintain accurate records including the 'individual learning plan' to the minimum required standards
* Deliver sessions of both classroom and placement based teaching and assessment
* Develop and utilise lesson plans for each taught session incorporating topics relating to whole class teaching, individual, paired, group and differentiated activities
* Provide focused support to those learners who are pre-entry level, or may have specific learning needs
* Monthly reviews of progress

The Ideal Candidate:

* Relevant training experience and qualification(s)
* Relevant occupational qualifications
* Experience of working with young people
* Occupational Experience / Knowledge and Technical competence in route ways delivering
* Experience of working with young people
* In depth knowledge of Apprenticeship programmes
* Experience of working with Vulnerable Adults
* Knowledge of training industry
