Transport Administrators, Coordinators and Dispatchers! If you are an experienced Transport Administrator/Coordinator who is now keen to utilise your knowledge of distribution in a challenging environment that allows you to build a career, then I need to hear from you today!

As the perfect candidate, you will have a flexible approach to a shift pattern that covers mornings and evenings. You will have experience within the transport sector, preferably dealing with HGV's on a daily basis hold a valid Class2.

Please note, this is a permanent, full time position with varying working hours. In return for your dedication and hard work, you will be entitled to a great basic salary and benefits package.

The Role:

  • Support the order delivery process through accurate real time trip-reconciliation on all deliveries
  • Support the planning team in monitoring and communicating changes to the work plan
  • Ensuring invoices are accurate and correlate with completed deliveries
  • Acting as a first point of contact for post-delivery issues
  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers and drivers
  • Dealing with queries immediately and effectively
  • Managing department mailbox
  • Monitoring Driver tacho hours when required
  • Assisting with reports and projects set by senior staff
  • Working effectively and accurately within a fast-paced, transport environment
  • Monitoring driver routes to ensure that delays are dealt with immediately


  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Good, working knowledge of the transport sector is required
  • Experience in working with HGV Drivers to monitor and coordinate routes is preferred
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and targets
  • Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office packages
  • Knowledge of tacho laws and driver hours legislation is preferred
  • Able to commit to part-time hours
  • Educated to A Level standard and hold GCSE's in Maths and English
