Your new employer is seeking a Technical Services Support to join their very successful and highly skilled team - reporting directly to the Technical Services Team Leader.

Purpose of the role:

* Assist in the correct Specification and Installation of their Products in collaboration with the External Sales Team

* Be the link between the Sales and Operations teams in delivering high performing, compliant products

* Ensure delivery of best practice with respect to the Design and Installation of Products

* Assist the commercial/sales function with project support

* Provide assistance in specification meetings

* Conduct contractor/customer-based meetings

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

* Customer and Sales team liaison through phone and email communication, including but not limited to

* To support the sale of products through the dissemination of technical information

* To provide robust technical solutions to design related problems relative to the product range

* To conduct in depth calculation and qualification of the suitability of products for use

* To correctly specify products by application

* Technical approval of drawing submittals

* NPD/product enhancement/Project work including but not limited to

* Production of development ideas for company improvement (site/customer feedback)

* Creation of Technical Briefing Documents for internal and customer use

* Enhance the existing library of CAD and Revit drawings

Assisting the Technical Team Leader in:

Testing

* Determine appropriate test types (Building Regs/market demands

* Sourcing of test facilities

* All products (fire/structural/air tightness/acoustic etc

* Installation of panel to large scale samples and rigs

Issues relating to site practice

* Handling

* Lifting devices

* CDM/Health and Safety

* Development drawings and standard detail (shared responsibility)

* Number of Projects currently being managed

* Technical Correspondence, including calculations

* 24‐hour response (standard circumstances)

* 48‐hour response (extraordinary circumstances)

* Effective diary organisation and planning

Key Skill Requirements:

* Ideally have worked in a Technical Services Support role or similar

* Ideally from an Architectural or Construction background

* Previous CAD experience is essential

This role would be ideal for an individual with an Architectural Technician/Technologist (or similar) background
