Reporting to the Deputy Finance Business Partner, and sitting within the wider Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) business unit, you'll be responsible for your own business area allocation and will lead a team of finance professionals to deliver high quality financial MI, analysis and monthly accounting processes. Through doing this you will support, advise and coach your customers, allowing and enabling them to make informed business decisions.
Harnessing leading edge analytical and automation tools (Alteryx, Tableau and Oracle Fusion) you'll collate, cleanse and analyse the data, applying context to inform and advise your customers in the business. An authentic leader and expert accountant, you will build an engaged and motivated team, building their capability and resilience, providing a fun and supportive environment with a focus on active problem solving, one-to-one coaching and continuous professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a genuine impact on both financial and organisational performance.
You have first-class leadership, communication and interpersonal skills - driven and dynamic, you build strong high performing teams and productive relationships with internal and external colleagues alike.
You're likely to have a proven track record in a finance environment and experience of managing an operational team. The experience of your customers is very important to you and at the centre of everything that you do; as a result, you embed a philosophy of continuous improvement into the work of yourself and those working with you.
You have an eye for detail, ensuring that the accuracy of the accounts completed by yourself and your team is of the highest quality; you also have a talent for making sense of complex accounting concepts and solving technical accounting problems. And if you've experience of Alteryx or Tableau to complement this (or similar BI and analytics tools), even better.
We're looking for someone who has all the right skills and isn't afraid to think outside the box or do something innovative for the benefit of the organisation.
