Our client, based in the Brynmenyn area of Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan are urgently seeking a Screen Print Operator to join their well established and successful company.

The company specialises in Industrial Print and Fabrication, predominantly on an industrial scale printing as well as manufacturing custom designed fabrication products.

Due to increased sales and investment, we are seeking an experienced screen printer or alternatively a person from a comparable print background with the ability to transfer their knowledge and previous print skills to this job role.

Duties include but are not limited to:-

Operation of semi automated and manual screen print machinery

Screen printing onto various flat sheet substrates i.e. glass / acrylic / powder coated metal panels.

Printing various components from a variety of industries.

Any ad-hoc related duties as requested by management

Skills and qualities required

The successful candidate will ideally have appropriate screen print experience using manual and semi automated screen printing flat beds. Knowledge of UV, solvent and two pack based inks will also be advantageous as well as knowledge of screen making .

Due to the environment of the position, it is imperative that the chosen candidate has the ability to manage their own workload and adhere to production targets as well as co-operate and liaise with other internal departments on their production needs.

A good eye for detail is a must, along with excellent quality control standards and the ability to problem solve minor issues and ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department.

Lastly, the candidate must have demonstrable experience maintaining a safe and clean work area, as well as adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Hours of Work

Days 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Alternative shift patterns available, paid at time and a quarter.

Afternoons 2.00pm - 10.00pm Monday to Friday

Nights 10.00pm - 6.00am Monday to Friday

We would also ask when possible, a flexible approach can be adopted with your working hours, as there are occasions when seasonal customer demands prevail. You will be supplying printed products to the digital, finishing and packing departments, so occasional weekend work may become available within your job role or within a bordering department.


Dependant on experience, good rates of pay are available and progression within the company for the right person.

Additional training will be provided to keep in with the current production techniques and support to the production team.
