Hours: Mon - Fri 8 - 4

Our client an expanding multinational manufacturing company require a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy friendly team. You will be joining a worldwide organisation that offer high quality service and products. This is a VERY busy role, ensuring system and method in all administrative matters relating to purchase ledger and accounts administration.

PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK

Duties:

* To ensure that accurate records are kept and updated daily

* Ensure that all written and verbal contacts are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner

* Reconcile sterling bank account

* Enter cash book

* File delivery notes and purchase orders received from good inwards

* Match delivery note to purchase orders and invoices

* Post invoices onto ledger

* Prepare purchase ledger BACs run monthly

* Reconcile suppliers statements

* Post various nominal journals when required

* Collate and manage asset register

* Control and balance petty cash

* Liaise with purchasing department regarding any queries

* Various administrative tasks when required i.e. filing, checking agents commission.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Experience within a manufacturing organisation is essential

* Ability to work within a team and individually

* Sage 200 experience preferred

* Self managing

* Organised and able to prioritise

* Good analytical, problem solving and numerical skills
