Salary Range £27,407- £29,629 Inclusive of Shift Allowance

Hours: 39 hours - Shift Pattern Mornings, Afternoons, Nights

We are recruiting for a multi skilled Electrician. Role Summary:

Maintain, repair and improve as required equipment in order to ensure that parts produced are to the required quality and standard.

Role Responsibilities:

* Work proactively with the Maintenance Co-ordinators and engineering teams to maintain and improve equipment efficiency and reduce process defects and scrap

* Understand and apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) techniques to maintain uptime of equipment and reduce Mean Time between Failures (MTBF)

* Carry out Planned Maintenance activities

* Close and evaluate Calsonic Kansei computerised maintenance database work orders (MP2)

* Apply problem-solving techniques to reduce downtime and scrap

* Support Engineering in the installation and commissioning of equipment

* Collate & Interpret process data

* Fault finding on all equipment including PLC diagnostics.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Must have PLC knowledge and logical fault finding ability that drives to root cause analysis

* Must have experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive sector preferable)

* Good communication & reporting skills

* Ability to work to deadlines

* Ideally possess an ONC qualification or equivalent

* Be prepared to work the necessary hours required to resolve problems to ensure production requirements are met

* Completion of a Time served apprenticeship

* Ideally possess HNC qualification or equivalent

* Trained to use Alan Bradley PLC

* Knowledge of service systems and robots
