We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant - Sales Ledger with our Hay-On-Wye based client.
You will prepare, analyse and report financial information that supports the timely decision making processes within the business.
Your main duties will include:
Setting up new clients
Banking and reconciliation
Running off turnover statements
Chasing up outstanding debts
Sorting out any rebates and filing
Checking VAT has been included on invoices
Providing creditors with VAT receipts
Month end reconciliation
You will need previous finance experience.
An AAT qualification would be preferred.
You will require good literacy and numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
Experience of using Excel, Word and ERP systems is required.
You will be part of a team and will need to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
