Job Title Customer Services Freight Clerk

Full time Permanent Role

Based in Enfield

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Our client a Global specialist within the Transport and Logistics sector are looking to recruit an experienced Freight and Logistics Customer Service Clerk to join their successful Freight team based at their site at Enfield. Our client are experiencing growth due to recent successes and are looking for experienced, motivated individuals to join.

Role Summary:

Arranging domestic and courier export and imports for our client UK and Global customers. A busy varied role, you will be responsible for overseas and other UK offices couriers. Air Freight/courier experience would be beneficial for this role. All administration duties including high volume email enquiries using company's online system.

Key Activities:

* Receiving shipments
* Opening bookings & updating bookings in TMS pro
* Arranging export shipments with carriers
* Arranging import & return courier shipments in TMS pro & courier company's online systems
* Completing export documents required for overseas shipments
* Some heavy lifting maybe required

The Successful Candidate:

* Professional Experience Some courier / air information would be beneficial
* Excellent ICT Skills to include Microsoft Packages
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Fast & accurate keyboard skills
* Attention to detail
* Friendly, Calm & professional manner
* Good time-management
* Ability to adapt to change & work effectively as part of the team
* Self-motivated
