An experienced conveyancing assistant is required on a full time basis at our client's office in Cardiff.
Working in a busy conveyancing department, your duties will include audio typing, dealing with Mortgage Companies both on the telephone and over email. You will regularly be speaking with clients, performing Land Registry Searches, plus carrying out other ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Complete a range of administrative tasks efficiently, accurately and within specified timescales
Management of a caseload of simple transactions.
Proactively liaising with clients, introducers, conveyancers, agents and third parties.
Dealing with legal enquires related to the sale or purchase of a property.
Production of accurate comprehensive documentation for clients, professional persons and third parties.
Obtaining information required as part of the conveyancing process.
You will need residential conveyancing experience either as a secretary, legal assistant or paralegal. You will be confident in all aspects of the conveyancing process from initial instruction to completion. Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential. A law degree, CILEx or legal qualification is desirable.
