Job Role: Telesales Advisors
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £18,000 plus 20% commission (paid on profit over target) OTE 1st year between £18k to £22k

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

Our Client has several vacancies for Telesales Advisors for and business to business sales. The Successful candidate will be required to maximise the margin generated from every customer opportunity, using a combination of up selling, account management, new customer acquisition as indicated within KPIs / performance targets. To work within a team that aims to exceed expectations of customers.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • This is a target related position and you will need to be hungry for success
  • To be polite and courteous on the telephone with personality
  • To be able to build relationships with a dedicated customer base that you will manage
  • To make outgoing calls daily to build and strengthen customer relations and promote the complete product and service range to them
  • To answer the telephone within 2 rings
  • To maximise all sales opportunities when liaising with customers, using add on, link and switch selling techniques
  • To process all orders and returns accurately and efficiently​
  • To resolve any complaints effectively and quickly
  • To deliver world class service
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Nothing is impossible and to exceed our customer expectations at all times
  • Proficient in Outlook and Excel with an eagerness to learn
  • A positive attitude to other team members at all times
  • To actively help and encourage other team members
  • To be proactive and show initiative and keep busy within the department
  • To help and assist with other departments if own workload is low
  • The ability to turn problems into solutions
  • The willingness to be flexible to suit the needs of the business
  • B2B sales (targets are 80 calls per day)
  • Account management


  • Previous Sales Experience an advantage but not essential
  • Good telephone skills


  • High degree of self-motivation and time management
  • Target driven / results orientated
  • Microsoft office skills
