Our client, a leading global specialist within the freight logistics sector is looking to recruit an experienced Accounting/Logistics Support Officer to join their successful team based at their site in Bristol.

Salary £21k - £25k DOE

Hours of Work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm 1 hour for lunch

Distribute goods, offering a range of services and specialising in project logistics.

Key Functions
Dealing with job accounting, profit reporting, Logistics and Freight Movement support

Role and Responsibilities

* Answer telephone line with Company policy and procedures
* Prepare Quotations and obtain rates
* Complete invoices from shipping lines
* Ensure monthly profit and loss accounting is up to date
* Manage cost and revenue estimates and accruals
* Liaise with suppliers and resolve all invoicing queries
* Accept orders, book the job in CONTROL, confirm the job
* Arrange International
* Comply with Company Policy and Procedure
* Escalate any issues
* Liaise with external suppliers
* Customer Service and Sales Function
* Maintain Customer Tracker / KPI Reports
* Liaise with internal parties and external suppliers to monitor job progress


* Previous Accounting Experience
* Understanding of Accounts AS400 an advantage but not essential
