As the New Year fast approaches, Centric take a moment to reflect on the year passed.
For us, 2018 has involved lots of changes to our business, some big, others small but all have shaped us to where we are at the end of this year.
We started 2018 with the launch of our brand new website. The business had grown and developed since we began and we wanted our online presence to reflect this. We gave the website a complete overhaul to ensure it was engaging, easy to use for our clients and candidates and encompassed all the sectors we now cover.
In 2017 we launched a number of new Divisions including Construction and Driving, both of which have grown rapidly in 2018. It’s been such a success that we have made multiple appointments at junior and senior levels to meet the demand. We are extremely proud of how far these divisions have come in such a small space of time and are committed to building upon this in the future.
As well as growing our teams, we have also opened two new branches, taking our total to nine! The latest branches to open are Aberdare and Avonmouth, the latter marking our first expansion outside of Wales. It’s been an exciting time and with two new branch managers in place, both are going from strength to strength.
In March, Centric were headline sponsors of the Welsh Contact Centre Awards. This was the third consecutive year we headlined as sponsors and we are proud to have played a part in recognising the best talent in the contact centre industry. We continue to work with the WCCF in order to ensure our contact centre division can offer unrivalled support to businesses.
As a business we have also taken time to evaluate how we can improve our processes and be the best we can be. Part of this led to us signing up as members of Stronger Together, an organisation dedicated to tacking modern slavery. We have upskilled our workforce to notice potential warning signs of modern slavery and are committed to ensuring that our processes will highlight anything suspicious.
It hasn’t all been hard work, this year we chose Breast Cancer Care Cymru as the charity we wanted to support. Our teams have taken part in a number of events throughout the year to raise money for this fantastic cause. Highlights have included the Gung Ho obstacle course and a few very brave members took on the Saundersfoot Triathlon! We also had a summer party for all our employees which involved hiring 3 barges on the canal at Goytre Wharf and ending the year on a high at the staff Christmas Party.
All in all, 2018 has been a great success for Centric Recruitment and we plan to continue this into the New Year. Thank you to all who have worked with us, candidates, clients and employees alike.
